• This year’s gala theme is Earth, Air, Fire and Water ~ an element of each to discover and explore. Come and see what other a attractions there are too.

Family Fun Weekend

Teddy Bears' Picnic

• Sat 9^th and Sun 10^th June
• Children go FREE if they bring a teddy bear.  Find the bears hiding in the Engine Sheds and win a prize.

Slate Industrial Exhibition

• Sat 23^rd and Sun 24^th June
• The history of slate extraction and processing in the locality.

Steam in the Sheds

• Sat 7^th July and Sun 8^th July
• Over a hundred tiny steam engines on display, some running, in the Engine Sheds.

Fun Whatever the Weather

• Sat 25^th and Sun 26^th August
• Who cares if it rains over the Bank Holiday? We can still have a fun weekend! Watch out for the dragons!

Lace on the Train

• Sat 8^th and Sun 9^th September
• Join our experienced lacemakers and have a go at lacemaking yourself.

Halloween

• Join us for some spooky goings on around the railway.
